thoughts at the park.



Yesterday, as I was walking through Hugh MacRae Park, a big gust of wind breathed through the tall pines surrounding me. The wind chimes dangling off the back of one of the bordering houses started to play, & as I stared up at the rich blue sky & shining sun, I felt other-worldly. The chimes sounded vaguely reminiscent of the little gifts sent to the tributes in The Hunger Games, & I was suddenly & wonderfully aware of how magical the world can be.

reading a mish-mash of things right now. I don't usually like to read more than one book at a time, but I am in a reading rut... and I...
