the sunday currently, volume 47.

Good Sunday morning to you, friends! I hope  you all have been having a good weekend. Yesterday was a day of knitting, working out, & getting caught up on my YouTube subscriptions. Justin went & golfed, so after being out in the heat & humidity for a few hours, he was exhausted last night.

Today we are wrapping up preparing the house for our visitor tomorrow! I'm so excited to have Justin's mom come visit. It'll be fun showing her around our town, as well as taking her to eat at our favorite places & to browse around our favorite antique shops.

R E A D I N G nothing at the moment. I decided to put Rise & Shine on hold for a while & take a little break.
W R I T I N G blog posts every day in August, for Blaugust. It's making me happy. I may do Septemblog, too.
L I S T E N I N G to the hum of the computer & my fingers tapping the keys of the keyboard. It's a quiet morning around here, folks.
T H I N K I N G that it's time to get up & clean! My mother-in-law is arriving for a visit tomorrow. I'm so excited - I LOVE when people come to visit us.
S M E L L I N G the fresh mug of hot chocolate I'm enjoying in an effort to wake up.
W I S H I N G I rose every day with the sun like Jen.
H O P I N G to get a lot accomplished today.
W E A R I N G nothing special... just pajamas.
L O V I  N G everything on Organized Jen's channels lately. They've been ultimately inspiring to me. Also, the crafting project I'm working on, as well as the ones I have planned.
W A N T I N G sushi & a caramel macchiato.
N E E D I N G medicine for my sinuses. And to get caught up on all my correspondence.
F E E L I N G tired. I don't know what it is, but this break from school has somehow exhausted me.
C L I C K I N G Rachel's blog a lot lately. I want everything in her Etsy shop.

Alrighty, the time has come to do the dishes. Happy Sunday, everyone!

Hot Chocolate sounds like Fall/winter....which I am sort of excited for, because it's my favorite time of year (fall)....but not ready for the super cold temperatures. Love fall/winter clothes...just not the bitter bitter cold.

I love knitting. I love what you made. So beautiful, and love the color.

It can be so fun to have visitors. Sprucing up the house can be stressful, but then when you're able to present a spiffed-up version of how you live... well, that's always nice. :) Enjoy your time with Justin's mom!

I like having visitors in part just because I know it's when my house gets its best clean! I hope it's a great visit! And you've reminded me that I've got a knitting project I need to start... bring on the cooler weather!

exactly! our house is never as clean as when we have people come visit. i've vowed that this time i'll keep it up, but i guess only time will tell. break out those knitting needles! it feels so great to make something.

thank you! i love knitting too. my friend taught me about three years ago, & this year i plan to make a whole bunch of things. navy is one of my favorite colors, so i'm tempted to keep this piece for myself. it's a gift, though!

fall is my favorite time of year, too! i can't wait for it. i don't even mind the cold temperatures - it's been oppressively hot & humid this year, which i don't like. the hot chocolate has definitely been putting me in the fall mood, but i know pumpkin spice coffee will definitely make it feel like it's time for the colder months!

the back and forth.

Justin had to turn on the air conditioner again last night.  It's October 26 - doesn't that mean the heater can stay on? Doesn't...
