holding down the fort.

This weekend, Justin is jetting out to take part in his fraternity's alumni golf tournament. I'm staying behind, since in a couple short weeks, I'll be headed to Shreveport for a month-long visit. During my alone-time this weekend, I plan to do a lot of reading, Gilmore Girls viewing, blogging, emailing-answering, working out, cleaning, & relaxing. I'm excited that Justin gets some quality time with his best friends this weekend - I hope he comes back with some interesting stories! And like I said, if you need me over the next couple of days, you know where to find me: the couch gym.

It's nice to have a little quiet time now and then. You can get in plenty of 'gym' time... and whatever else you want to do. :) I hope Justin has fun golfing, and I hope you enjoy the relaxation and weather. I love Wood Wick candles. That's the perfect thing for a rainy, book reading kind of day.

Isn't it fun when the men leave? Every once in awhile Alex leaves to go on a bachelor trip or something and I'm like. YESSSSSS... control of the remote! Haha! I think it's good for the marriage, too, ya know? Even now.. Alex went out with friends and I'm enjoying my alone time here on a Friday night. Maybe I'm just a dork. :)

Have a relaxing weekend!

Yes yes yes to Gilmore Girls! I could watch that show anytime without it ever getting old. It is the ultimate comfort! It's nice to have some alone time to do all of those things. :)

the back and forth.

Justin had to turn on the air conditioner again last night.  It's October 26 - doesn't that mean the heater can stay on? Doesn't...
