six months married.

Today marks our six month wedding anniversary. It already feels like we've come so far since that day in October. I can honestly say, I didn't really feel married until about five months in. Yes, it actually took that long for it to really sink in. But I love being married to my best friend: I love how ridiculous & goofy we get to be on a daily basis. You know, it's fun. But growing up is the strangest thing - how is it possible that I am married? And have been, for half a year already? I guess I'll find out eventually. Until then, I'll relish the fact that this year, we aren't going through the stress of planning a wedding. While I treasure those days in Kinston, as well as the process leading up to our wedding day, it's nice to have come so far since then, & to have put such a large project behind us.

Oh, & I also used to have blonde hair. Those were the days.

Happy 6 month-iversary! I've always thought it must be weird to suddenly start saying "we've been married 6 months" instead of "we've been together 4 years" or however long!

Happy 6 months! My wedding day is 11 months and some days away from today. I am nervous, but excited at the same time. It took 6 months to sink in that I was/am engaged!

it's totally weird, especially since we've been together 8 years! but it's cool, too. it just took a while getting used to the thought that i was actually married. :)

Happy 6 months! I've been married 5 months and STILL don't feel married. I'm probably in denial that I'm actually grown-up enough to even be married. ;-)

i feel you - i'm in total denial about being grown up, so i just pretend i'm a little kid that married. haha!

Happy six months! I think I've been subscribed to your blog since that time! It's important to mark all the anniversaries, big and small, don't you think?

Happy six-month anniversary!! I'm realizing now that the hubs and I got married a week before you on October 6th! I agree that around this point, things start to feel more settled. I'm noticing small things, like how using the word "husband" feels more natural and doesn't make me giggle, and it feels good. :)

the back and forth.

Justin had to turn on the air conditioner again last night.  It's October 26 - doesn't that mean the heater can stay on? Doesn't...
